Shipping Information & Returns
Shipping Lead Time
We monitor all orders to ensure that they are shipped in a timely manner. Your order will be processed within 2 working days from the date of the order. Shipping date does not include holidays, weekends or the day you place the order. Please allow some extra lead time if you would like your purchase to be delivered during the last two weeks of December.
Shipping Rates
Shipping charges are calculated based upon the weight of your product and the distance from our store to the destination. Occasionally a larger size or special handling may affect the shipping charge. Depending upon the circumstances we will ship packages via either UPS or the U.S. Postal Service. We have set our rates to approximate the rates charged to us by our delivery service providers.
Shipping Perishable Items
Perishable products, such as our chocolate truffles, barks, and other confections, may require additional shipping charges to keep your products fresh during hot summer months. You will be notified of any additional fees during the checkout process. Some perishable products may require expedited shipping.
All perishable food items are carefully packed for safe delivery. Make sure to refrigerate all perishable products as soon as they are delivered. Please be sure that someone will be at the address to receive the delivery on the expected day. Perishable shipments do not require a signature for delivery and will be left at the recipient's address.
Cancellations
Cancellations can only be accepted if a product has not shipped. A 5% fee may be applied to a canceled order that has not shipped if your credit card has already been processed through our service provider.
International Orders
All Customs, duties, fees and any other charges corresponding with the shipping and delivery of your order internationally will be billed to you. Currently, we are only shipping within the United States of America and Canada.
Damages / Return / Exchange Policy
Obsession Chocolates cannot be responsible for orders returned to us due to invalid addresses, or non-adherence to our shipping policies. Once items are returned to Obsession Chocolates, they are no longer sale-able.
No returns or credits will be given on product unless product was damaged in shipping. Due to wide variations in customer storage and merchandising conditions, Obsession Chocolates cannot assume responsibility for damage after delivery. If you have a damaged shipment, notify Obsession Chocolates immediately and replacement product will be sent at our expense. No replacements will be made if notified more than 5 days after shipment.
No product returns will be accepted without authorization. All returns must have all original packing materials until the claim is resolved.
We strive to ensure that all of our hand-dipped truffles are uniform in shape and size, but because they are hand-made, no two will be identical. We will not exchange or replace on this basis.
